Our Mission
The Kings County Sheriff’s Foundation is a recently established non-profit organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code that allows citizens of Kings County to partner with the Kings County Sheriff’s office. The resource provided by the Foundation support the activities of the Sheriff’s office.
The Kings County Sheriff’s Foundation will serve as a vehicle for tax-exempt gifts, donations and grants from individuals and businesses to support and enhance services provided by the Kings County Sheriff’s office.
Historically, the Sheriff’s office has received generous contributions designated for various Sheriff’s programs, such as the Sheriff’s K-9 Unit, the Sheriff’s Explorers, and the Sheriff’s Water Rescue Unit. The Kings County Sheriff’s Foundation will allow donations to strengthen these vital programs, as well as many more.
